If it helps put your mind at ease I talked to my Doctor yesterday and he said the pain after feels like you did way to many sit ups. He has done tons of dVH's and that is what all his patients tell him. So take a deep breathe! I'll be praying for you!

Hi ladies, here I am 7 hours post-op and feeing good. Pain is finally easing (thanks Morphine!).

I think it went well, will be seeing the Dr in about 5 hours so I will know how things went.

About to have a nap now, as it's 11:45pm and I've been awake since 5am!

My daughter has her 13th birthday tomorrow so she will be opening presents here lol.

Anyway, just thought I'd pop in and wish all you ladies a smooth ride!

Dr. said my procedure was textbook. He wishes all of his hysterectomies were as easy as mine.

I'm home after an overnight stay in hospital. I had a rough time with lower back pain last night. They combined an anti inflammatory and dilaudid which really helped. Getting out of bed and walking felt good. Ice cream for dinner last night was a plus!
