Can we take Pamprin after a Hyster?

I am having TERRIBLE PMS right now.Cranky,tired,moody,emotional,craving CHOCOLATE,backache,etc............all the wonderful PMS sypmtoms.Can we take Pamprin or Midol even if we have no Uterus? Will it hurt anything to take it?I don't have any more pain pills and I don't want to call the Dr and ask.I just wondered if anyone here knew the answer to my question

Please don't be hesitant to call your dr and ask for more pain meds if you need them. It seems they are all a little different in their opinions, but most won't hesitate to give you something if you need it. Mine gave me more at 2 weeks and even at 5 wks. I was cautioned thoroughly about not using them to enable myself to do too much, but he did give me a few for bad days, and I used them.
At the same time you could ask the question about the Pamprin. It 's your ovaries that are giving you the pms and it isn't uncommon. I know I have had some. Your dr might have some other suggestions for you too.
