Bleeding

When is this bleeding going to stop. I am 7 weeks out and just still bleeding. It had stopped for a few days and just started back up. This is the heaviest yet. I was in the kitchen had a sudden pain in the stomach followed by a cold sweat. I say down. About 10 minutes later I went potty and there was no blood. I then took my shower got out dressed and felt moister in my panties. Went to the bathroom to wipe and had a good amount of blood on the tissue. I now have a pad on and have been checking every 15 minutes. There is a good amount in the tissue but not on the pad yet. I am waiting 30 minutes this time. It also is bright red blood.

Have you talked to your doctor about this bleeding? I didn't have the same surgery you did but it seems kind of far out from surgery to have bleeding. If your bleeding increases to the point of filling a pad in one hour, please head to the ER. Otherwise, put your feet up and give your doctor a call. Please keep us posted.

I am only 2 weeks out and started bleeding more, my doc told me to rest rest and more rest. So get some rest drink plenty of water and if you are filling a pad an hour call the on call doc!

I'm two weeks post op and I started bleeding (spotting) Thursday night. I had been on my feet all day Thursday baking. That was the first discharge since OP, boy was I scared. Called the nurse, she said to take it easy, more bed rest. Fri and Sat all I did was rested. Spotting has stopped. BTW, the blood was dark. Best rest is vital to recovery!
