6 Months Post-Hysterectomy So Many Issues

Hi, I had a vaginal hysterectomy 6 months ago. Kept my ovaries, however during the 6 week follow up I had developed an infection and found out not only did I have to have this hysterectomy but at the same time I also had a tubal pregnancy removed on the left hand side.
Since that time I have a pain on my lower left hand side that doesn't seem to want to go away, some days it is extremely painful and others it is like a burning feeling. On top of that I have gained roughly 10 pounds all completely around the middle, not anywhere else. I just don't understand what is going on?!
I cry, I do yoga every every day, I walk to work, I lift weights and no matter what the weight doesn't seem to want to move. And on the days where the pain in my left hand side is to great I just want to sleep.
Could it be that I still have some sort of infection that is causing a fluid build up? Is this all in my head? Should I go to the doctor?
Help please.

It may still be swelly belly but to be sure nothing else is going on then you should make sure to see the doctor and rule anything else out.
Get everything checked, intestines, bladder, maybe get an ultrasound to check if there is fluid in the abdominal cavity.
Even if its for peace of mind.
Take care

Re: 6 Months Post-Hysterectomy So Many Issues

I would suggest that you go and get checked out, I have the same type of pain, lower left side of my abdomen, found out I have a cyst, it has stayed the same size since last August, but they say it could be an endometrioma on/in my left ovary, bowel movements hurt, and I feel pressure even while laying down. Good news for me is that I go to see the doctor who did my hysterectomy almost 2yrs ago
