irrational and erratic

okay... so we talk about being sad but what about the polar opposite ...I get angry about everything and anything it seems , no one understands me , I do not sit well, patience in healing is not my virtue. I am a doer , my husband is used to me being a doer , so I loathe asking for help and for him me asking for help is like the universe has exploded and were all going to die lol ....... so in my fifth week of recovery my husbands job is transferring him and were to move into a new house but guess what , I cant help him this time. when it rains it pours...... on the positives I have one more week left, of, sitting on my duff. Are there anymore ladies out there , that your husbands think there wives were switched at the hospital and they got linda blare in the exorsist instead ????????

Re: irrational and erratic

Its very normal to have all sorts of emotions during recovery.
Some days i was a crying whiney mess and some days i was just plan down right mean.
Its the recovery, your brain trying to deal with the last bit of initial healing and hormone fluctuations.
We are all here for you.
If it continues then maybe get your hormones checked to see if theres an imbalance that can be corrected.
Take great care and keep posting your progress

Re: irrational and erratic

What you are experiencing is being non-hormonal. It takes a while for your ovaries to wake up after a hysterectomy. Because of that, it sends you on an emotional , and gives you all ranges of emotions. After I had my post-op (at which I didn't let her know I was having any trouble with emotions) I ended up going back for a consultation appointment a month later to let her know what my emotions were doing. (I am totally non-hormonal) When is your post-op? If you still have a while to wait, it would be a good idea to contact his/her office and let him/her know what is happening. S/he is there to help you.
