So afraid they will postpone...

I am so worried, I am scheduled for TSH/BSO first thing Monday, and doing the bowel prep tomorrow. I have been fighting a cold all week and was actually WORSE today. Just came from my reg dr (not the one doing the surgery) and basically, its up to the anesthesiologist monday morning to decide if I'm too congested to do it. I am trying everything-- steam, soup, fluids, and just can't rescheduled, I've arranged my life around this date ! UGH-- just had to vent...

Oh, hon. I hope you get a miracle over night. I'm considering locking myself in the house the next week so I don't catch anything. I'll be thinking about you and praying that you're feeling well tomorrow. ((((HUGS)))

I'm sorry you're sick! I'm sending lots of s and positive thoughts your way! Keep drinking fluids and soup and I hope you get through this quickly!

I feel for you. THe night before my surgery this past tues, I started to feel really crummy - stuffy nose, scratchy throat, etc. I was so freaked out after all the planning, etc and did not want to cancel. I just drank tons of water, had some chicken soup for dinner, and by some miracle was feeling pretty good on weds morning.
