Heeeere's your pie...NOT!

About that key lime pie I signed up to bring to the church picnic today...

Okay, okay, okay! So I'm not at the church picnic today. Instead, I'm spending a leisurely day at home, phoning friends and writing this note and resting up for Coronation Day on Tuesday.

My DH left early the AM for his first of *two* picnics and my son is probably just arriving for a day of fun and food with his friends an hour away at the amusement park. This is a good thing.

However, they moved the church picnic mealtime *ahead* one hour, so my son had to leave directly from church after the service with his friends.....

Without the pie!!!

Too bad all my posse is outta town. I may have to finish this thing off all by myself!

I have been enjoying this entire pie/church picnic episode so much!

I can only imagine the little mini-dramas playing out all week long at your house.

Key lime pie is really very healthy, you know. All that fruit......have at it!!!
