Lupron, pain, Fibromyalgia??

Hi all.
Better today, sorry if I freaked yesterday!
Questions....I have fibromyalgia, will have surgery 8 weeks away in June LAVH/BSO. Lupron shot in February ( 3 month kind) PAIN still is horrible. Ovarian cysts, uterus tilted, golfball fibroid. and lots of endometriosis that is "glueing" my organs to the abdominal wall. Left ovary is in bad shape and therefore alot of groin pain. Do I have to just tough it out until surgery or is there a pain relief medicine ar alternative you ladies have tried and is effective?
thanks in advance. This long wait was my choice not dr. due to work schedule. I am holding out fora great long summer recovery!

I am new to all of this but I'm glad I found some one who has Fibromyalgia like me. My Hyster is on the 28th I am so scared of the additional pain. We already have to endure so much. Hugs and support!

Lupron, pain, Fibromyalgia??

Pain meds vary form person to person

I've just had a failed EA and been been prescribed 50mg of oral Demerol every 4 hours, and it does nothing to take the pain away, it takes a very slight edge off, but not enough to be effective in letting me get out and about, unfortunatly. And the common side effect of it of Drowsiness or dizziness is a no show (was hoping it might help me get some sleep, guess not)

In general I'd talk with your doc about any pain meds that might be of help to you and what you are living with .. alternatively its called grin and bear it (which is nun to easy, but if a high pain tolerance is developed it can be dun).
