So upset; Surgery cancelled

I'm so sorry you have to go through the wait and worry twice That happened to me with my back surgery. As (((greyown))) suggested, it's great to be scheduled as the first surgery of the day. That way nobody can bump you off the end. My hysterectomy was the first surgery of the day, and since it was Christmas Eve, my doc only had 3 scheduled. My surgery went much longer than expected, and for that reason the 3rd surgery of the day got bumped. I felt bad for the woman when I found out. At least next time you will know what to expect.

Thanks everyone. My surgeon's assistant rescheduled me and I will be first up on March 31!! Really happy about this.
I know things happen for a reason... My sister had planned on coming up this weekend to visit me while I was recovering.. My poor young nephew had a bad snowboarding accident last night which resulted in a nasty fracture to his arm. She spent the whole night at the hospital with him. I'm so glad she was home and not with me.. He needs his mom right now!

Ouch for your nephew! He definitely needs his mom, and glad he has her there with him in the hospital.

While it sounds like a long way off, the 31st will be here before you know it. Maybe use the time to do extra planning.....
