Bladder Question

I've had two people tell me that after their hysterectomy they had to have their bladder pinned up. Has anyone ever had this done? Is is common with hysterectomys?

I have know people that have had to have that done but it was years later. I'm not really sure how common it is though. I would love to know that myself.

I asked my doc about it and he said he wasn't going to do anything to do it unless he saw that it needed it. He didn't do anything during my surgery. So, not everyone needs it.
