Hopes for 2009

My first hope is for our country to become strong and proud again.

My second hope is for a reliable test for ovarian cancer and curative treatments.

My third hope is that all women who will undergo a hysterectomy this year will find Hystersisters to help them through their questions, fears, and fast recoveries.

Red face - Contest: Hopes for 2009 - Reply to enter: Win a Bed Tray! (2 winners!) My hope for 2009

I hope with all my heart that everyone in the US gets what they deserve from this new president. Our country is falling apart and we need Pres. Obama to take a stand for the huge number of people losing their jobs due to the economy. I went from having around 20 to 25 hours a week to 4 to 8 hours a week, I am a full time college student, and my hubby stays home with our disabled child. I know there are many others in my situation or worse that needs help everyone is in my prayers.

I'm hoping for health and happiness for 2009. My son had a craniotomy in June, and he is doing very well. I just hope for continued health for him. I also hope for my mother to find a nice memory care facilty that will allow her to have a more fulfilled life than the current one.

My hopes for 2009 are that all those with the courage to post on this site will receive all the help and guidance they need to resolve their problems.

These voices need to be heard and it's wonderful that you can find someone out there that's been there too and wants to share.

Love and prayers to all !

My hope is to take control of my health, better care of my body through exercise and nutrition, grow closer to G-d, to not hurry through life and to love even beyond the incredible love I have felt and experienced. That's it in a nutshell!

I pray for a better relationship with my dad who is turning 71 this year. I pray for those you are out of a job to find one that will support their families.
I pray for my 4 teenagers to do well in life. My oldest leave for the Marines this summer after he graduates!

My hopes is that I can get through this scare with minimal emotional distress for my family and close friends and that my worst case fears are unfounded. Either way, I know I'll need to have surgery, but I want it to go quick, smooth, and easy.

My other hopes for this year are silly ones- ones that make me smile and laugh-- like getting a book accepted at a couple of my favourite e-publishers, going to DragonCon in Atlanta, and being able to ride the roller coasters at Busch Gardens once I lose another 50 lbs so that the chest straps close completely. Silly things, but things that would make me happy.

I hope that my health continues to go in the positive direction it has taken so far. That I figure out my diet issues and keep on exercising......
