Coughed and wicked pain

Omg girlfriends! Was sleeping and woke up in cough fit I think from little post nasal drip. Had worst pain and thought unheard a popping sound in my body while coughing. I am so scared I popped a stitch! I quickly took Tylenol and Benadryl. Is it possible I ruined an inside stitch I am 6 days post op. and really feeling miserable about the lengthy recovery I really didn't know it would be this hard and long.

Take some time today to really rest, I had this feeling a few times and found I absolutely had to keep myself quiet. It IS a very long and slow recovery, and we have only one chance to do it right! Feel better!
Also, consider some cough meds to keep from coughing too much again if you didn't already take some. ((Hugs))

I have also been battling with sneezing and coughing. At first my sneezes sounded like a horse neighing and set the household into fits of laughter! Now I hold my wound area and bend down if I feel a sneeze coming on or coughing, still sending the household into roars of laughter! But it works for me!

I too have felt low at times with the slow recovery but mid 3rd week started to feel better and in 4th week feeling much stronger. Be kind to yourself and take it day by day. Every day you will feel a little better. Big Hug.
