wondering - do I need HRT?

had sah 3 weeks ago kept ovaries and cervix had huge fibroids removed doing apart from night sweats wodering if i need hrt wont see dr for another 4 weeks for check is this normal mary

It isn't unusual to have some symptoms of menopause post-hysterectomy, but it doesn't necessarily mean you'll need hormone therapy. Sometimes the ovaries are a little slow to wake up after surgery and they might be sluggish. If your symptoms continue or become too much to deal with, you'll want to let your doctor know. Maybe your doctor would want to prescribe hormones to help tide you over until your ovaries wake up.
