Weight

Ok, I got another one.

Can you Princesses who have been through it tell me if I can expect to get thinner or bigger after my op please?

I ask because although I have lost 22lbs in the last year and my face and the rest of me is a skinny gal, my tummy is pear shaped due to the fibroids trying to push outwards.

I'd like to know if I will get skinny there too once they are gone, along with everything else.

I lost about 35 pounds. but due to other health issues i have regained most of it, then lost some, etc...

My cravings for chocolate died

You will lose the weight of the fibroids themselves but not any fat from your body unless you are eating less calories than you burn. My uterous was 7 times the normal size but only weighed just over a pound.

Initially you will probably lose some weight. I didn't/couldn't eat anything for about 3 days as the morphine made me feel nauseated.
My uterus and fibroids were pretty large and weighed about 3.5 pounds total.
I'm 5 weeks post and have lost about 9 pounds, didn't really need to, but I'm not complaining

Thanks all - I am determined to use this as a wake-up call to get more exercise than just galloping my hounds across the fields twice a day - the diet isn't a problem, hence the 22lbs gone already.
