Catheter 7 days Post Op! Anyone else? (Update)

It seems like anything else but my bladder is great. I am a week post op and completely off pain meds! My bladder had a hard time to wake up after surgery and I was set home with a foley catheter! Now 2 days later I was sent home thank god without the catheter but with one that you can use yourself to drain the bladder on my own. Anyone else these type of problems?

I think you'll find it's not that hard to do. I had some soreness when I would take the cath out. Putting it in was easy, especially with the KY jelly. I hope everything goes smoothly for you. My bladder started empyting more after about 5 days of self cathing. I hope it goes well!
