Discharge - Almost 10 weeks post hysterectomy: Can't. Take. It. Anymore.

I am really starting to get depressed and very frustrated. I have not stopped discharge since day one. I have randomly bled, including last week clots or tissue or whatever that was. Doc says my recovery "is not normal". I haven't even returned to work yet. Was hoping to very soon but still feel in pain some days, discomfort all days, tired all the time and this constant stuff coming out of me is driving me mad!

Is there any down time after silver nitrate treatment for granulation tissue? This is something my doc said we could consider, yet its no guarantee that this will stop all the blood and discharge.
AND, now I have an infection as well.
Honestly, I am on my last nerve.

I know exactly how you feel!! I am also 10 weeks post-op and not fully back to work yet either!! Although I'm not having the same issues with drainage I am having the fatigue problems!! I was finally able to stay standing after a shower yesterday and brush my hair!!! I too have been so depressed about my slow recovery!! You are not alone!!

Just take one day at a time and we will get through this!!

The Dr doesn't think the infection could be related to the drainage?!? Like you I probably wouldn't want to waist anymore time on things that aren't helping your recovery but just a thought to see if some antibiotics will help with the drainage issue?!?

How did your doc appointment go today?

I started an antibiotic today, not sure if that has anything to do with the incessant draining but OMG if that helps I would be so happy.

Getting depressed.
