Bowels and gas

Hey there ladies,LAVH on the 8th of June,adn i have trapped gas,and one day i have diarreha,and then I cant go for about 4 days.I seen my dr yesterday and had a enema,and even with that,nothing passed but loose stool.The pain is unreal.It feels like someones in there squeezing.Any suggestions out there?The pain radiates from navel to bikini line,and entire left side of the stomach.

I haven't had the diarrhea part, but I can relate to the trapped gas. I am 3 weeks post-op and I still have it. I also have IBS so I'm sure that's part of it. But I've only had a BM 3 times since my surgery.
I would try some Gas-X or something similar to that. I didn't realize at first that my pain was gas (pretty stupid for someone with IBS) so I just suffered for the first while. Also, I would watch what you're eating. Foods that might not usually bother you could be right now. I found that I had to really watch that at first.
