for all equestrians here, how long after hysterectomy did you start riding?

ok so my surgery will be in January sometime i purposely did this as i own horses and the winters here are cold and snowy so i wont have to do much in terms of care for my horses, for ladies who own horses how long after surgery did you start riding?

My surgery is Oct 8th, I have horses too and also ride dirt bikes, my dr said it would be 8 weeks before i could do either. It stinks, but I want to hurt myself. maybe someone here will be able to help more.

I've looked up allot of old posts on this topic I'll just have to wait and see how it goes

I have 2 horses but I haven't done much riding lately. Mostly because of my bladder issues. Walking is fine but as soon as we begin to trot or canter or God forbid crowhop my bladder just lets loose. That is supposed to get fixed along with my hyster. That was also one of the reasons I scheduled my op for October. The hay is already put up for the winter and pretty soon there will be 2 feet of snow here. I am hoping to heal up enough to get some skiing in this winter. Riding will start up again in the Spring.
11 days to the big day...

I am 5 days post op now and I can tell ya I can barely ride in a car let alone my horse!! I did ride the weekend before surgery.
