7th day and feeling good

I cannot believe one week ago was my big surgery day. Over all everything went well and from this group of wonderful ladies I have learned what to anticipate good or bad. Please do not get me wrong. What I mean is that I want to be educated in knowing how I might feel or what issues some may have faced so that if I am faced with an issue/ problem I can say wait somebody else might have had that issue let me check without panicking.

I learned most of all to relax and not push my recovery as this can deceive you feeling great or not tired but it is not worth rushing.

Thanks to everybody helping it nice to know where we can turn to get info and its also important to help those starting the process... after all helping others while we are down keeps us busy. LOL!

Just a little bit of gas pains and still bloated and swollen I can see a difference everyday. Pain every now and then in the area where I would have my ovaries. Last night I almost made it through the night with sleeping. I slept until 3 am and then closed my eyes and I was back asleep which is a major improvement from the other days.

Thank you....to those who have helped and answered post

Re: 7th day and feeling good

That's great news that you are recovering so well. I went yesterday for a check up so he could see how I am doing after surgery. They were all surprised at how well I am doing too. I had mine on the 16th, so almost a week. I am so thankful that I have had a easy and fast recovery so far.

Re: 7th day and feeling good

Hear hear. This is an absolutely great site - such a relief to know that others are there with a font of information.

I appear to be the same as you sleep wise - 7 days post op and last night was the longest I had slept - 5.5 hours straight! And I feel much less tired despite being anaemic.

Glad you are feeling good and long may it continue!!! :-D
