A little help please

So my "discharge" as gone from brown to a red but not bright red or thick its thin and I'm wearing just liners without any issue and they're not soaked when I change them. I'm having some vaginal discomfort and OB's nurse said this could just be stitches disolving and starting to let go, I'm 9 days post op, yesterday it was brownish rust color a bit nervous with the change. Any body else know what I'm talking about?

Re: A little help please

I had my surgery the same day as you and my discharge is doing the exact same thing. My Dr had told me that it was normal to have bleeding as discharge for 6 weeks but I tend to worry about every little thing. Hopefully someone on here who has been through it will help us out and give us some advice.

Re: A little help please

You sound like me worrying about every little thing. But I do feel better hearing your doc said same thing and you are going through it too. Thanks a lot

Re: A little help please

Your welcome! I feel like I live on this website now trying to make sure everything is normal. Haha! If I didn't I would be wearing my Dr's office out!

Re: A little help please

It sounds pretty normal to me, at least according to my experience and from reading others' posts. Certainly if the volume or pain increases dramatically, call your doc. Make sure you're not overdoing it.

Re: A little help please

I'm a couple of days ahead of you and I'm still experiencing the watery pink discharge. I have noticed the more I do physically the more I have. I know it's normal only because my doc and a few friends have been through this. One friend is almost 4 years post op, and she vaguely remembers the spotting, she said once you get through all the recovery process it's all a distant memory!

Re: A little help please

Thanks I really really appreciate the peace of mind you ladies are offering.
I haven't said anything to my friends because none of them have been through it and I don't want to worry them. I think tomorrow will be focused on rest. I
need to remember that even though I'm
feeling a lot better, I'm still in the early days of healing. Thanks again ladies you're amazing
