GAS and BM Horror...Need advice....
Total cereal in the morning (lots of fiber) + a stool softener at night, and the magical formula for me - good old PRUNE JUICE. Day 3 was horrible for me as far as gas pains...I thought it would never go away, but it did literally overnight once the prune juice took effect. I don't know if I would recommend more than 1 stool softener in combo with prune juice...that's what I did on day 3, and without getting too graphic, the toilet & I were best friends all day. I'm on iron supplements as well, so that works against the 1 stool softener pill that I now take per day...but so far it's been OK.
