I have a question before I bother the Doc

I am now almost 7 months since my surgery and last 2 weeks or so I have had some bright red spotting after certain straining activities (such as lifting my 22 month old) or if I am constipated (sorry tmi lol). Is this something I should call my doc about?? It is not like a flow just kind of like spotting. I hate bugging docs for no reason. Thanks for any input.

I think you should call the dr and ask about it. There shouldn't be anything to cause bleeding. The fact that it comes when you strain seems to indicate something struggling to be healed.

It isn't uncommon to have granulation this far out. You could have a small amount that is just now being broken open when you exert yourself. This is only my guess. You need to talk to your dr to find out exactly what's happening.

There's a good site that explains Post Op bleeding and what can cause it so far out from your surgery.
