3 weeks post op...no stitches?

i had my TVH 3 weeks 2 days ago and i honestly cannot say i hvae seen any stitches "come out". is this normal?? or am i worrying over nothing?? I'm not really worried, just wondering if i should see anything?

At 6 weeks post op when I went for my appt to my Dr. she told me that I still had stitches that hadn't come out yet and that if I saw some stringy things in come out that's all it was. I don't ever remember any of them coming out in large pieces. Most must've been absorbed by my body. It was probably 8 weeks or more before all mine were gone, I would see something every now and then when I would go to the restroom. It's a long process.

I am 4 weeks post-op today and I haven't seen anything either! I am glad you asked this question.

I saw my first stitch--- or what I thought was a stitch on the shower floor just a few days ago at week six. It was a little purplish thread about a quarter inch long. I wouldn't worry too much about them. Some women never see any and heck mine could have been some "fluzz" from my new pj's.
