loss of memory

I had a TVH on 4th Nov,doing very well,back at work a little tired at times but no pain,still itchy though.I was cleared to have sex,it was fine no problems felt like it did before op,really pleased about that. Only problem was that I was totally confused afterwards could not remember what day it was why I had an operation,this lasted for about 20 min then I was back to normal.Very strange feeling when you lose your memeory,I knew who I was and my husband but could not remember why I had a scar really weird!! Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

The memory loss worries me, even if it was momentarily, and I think I would be calling the Dr.

I don't want to scare you but my Mum had several small strokes over the years and one of the things that happened with her was memory loss.

Even this far out from surgery you could be at risk from blood clots so it would be better to get yourself checked.

I didn't have a loss of memory but did find it difficult to concentrate or focus on anything at first. My dr said that it was probably a reaction from the anesthesia. I agree that you should mention it to your dr. It is still on your mind and you might benefit from testing to determine it's cause
