infection after post op

Hi well I had my surgery on may 20 and a week later wound up back with an infection and drainage stood week and now home I still have nausea and I don't no what to do

Hey Gal....I didn't start to feel better for a good 5 weeks. My incision got infected and I had to have it reopened and then it had packed twice a day for it to heal from the inside out. Your body has went through so much....parts being removed and organs being pushed around. Give yourself time to heal. If your pain starts to get worse, call the doctor.

thank you for letting me no I was so nerves thay didn't pack it their just letting it drain on its own and it still draining but thay said to keep it covered

i too got an infection not bad enough though to have the incision to be reopened. it will get better i promise i was in last week on iv antibiotics now home on pill form after getting MRSA in the incision.
