Back from the castle...

Hi everyone-

I'm home from the castle and trying out my crown now. It was a rough surgery, but I still think that the waiting was the worst part for all you LIW. I was an endometriosis factory-it was everywhere. My doctor had to leave some on my intestines/bowel and will try to treat that with hormones to shrink it away. I had to have 2 other surgeons come in during it all as my ovaries were fused to my ureters. They had to put catheters up my ureters to keep them stiff so they wouldn't damage them during the removal of all the scar tissue. So all you ladies out there who think you have to be near death before you have your surgery, think again. I should have done this 10 years ago! I had to stay an extra day as I was having lots of intestinal problems-things just aren't working right yet for me. Thanks to everyone who gave me lots of support before the surgery. I hope I can encourage those in waiting, also. The nerves before it all is the worst-you can do this. If I can, with my panicky personality, then you can, too!

Welcome Home Tamir!!!

I have to say that new crown looks absolutely fabulous on you Tamir!

I can't thank you enough for coming back and sharing your story with the pre op ladies. There are so many out there having second thoughts time and time again because their pain has subsided. Once an endo sufferer, always an endo sufferer, whether the pain has mysteriously gone on vacation or not.

Though you had a bit of a difficult time of it your great spirit shines through. Do keep us posted on your recovery and I wish you the bestest and fastest and healthiest recovery possible!

Alaska? Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
