Ok so I just need to ask those that have been intimate

glad to hear things going well for everyone in that department. I am 7 weeks postop but Dr. said I have to wait 2-3 more weeks as I still have a lot of pain. Hopefully the pain will be gone by then as I am not sure my husband can wait much longer than that. Although he has been really good about the whole thing. We have always had a very active sex life up until 6 months ago when I started bleeding and never stopped until hysterectomy. So it has been 6 months for my poor husband. As for me I am very anxious about having sex. This is embarrassing but I am small down that way compared to my husband..um..you know. So very nervous about hurting my vaginal cuff. I have been talking to my husband about this and so what does he go and do..he goes to what I call the sex store and gets some things to help with that. Okay now I am really embarrassed and will stop now.

Don't be embarassed sister, your body will tell you when it's ready for the "big event". Do have some lubricant handy though! It will be a lot easier and more comfortable when you're ready. My DH surprised me with his + hers KY, we had fun with that!! Have fun! :-)
