Bleeding through incision

5 weeks post op.Tah.started bleeding through incision two weeks ago. surgeon says it's ok and has to come out. change dressings nearly every day. how long will this take? tired but eating ok and hubby's looking after me

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing a bleeding incision.

I can't say that i have heard of this being normal before. If there is an infection I can understand why they would want it to drain.
