When did you start wearing your own panties?
I bought 2 packs of granny panties in 2 sizes larger than I usually wear. I started wearing them on the second day post-op (those mesh things were a JOKE on me!) and I've been wearing them since. I kind of like the "saggy diaper" effect! LOL!

When did you start wearing your own panties?
For the most part I am still going "commando"! But I have worn my regular panties, but dont care for anything tight/snug on me. I had a pair of control panties that were rather tight but allowed me to wear "regular" clothes. Yesterday I bought 4 pair from Kmart that feel pretty good (but havent worn for any lenght of time) They are the "Pink K" brand and were only 9.99 buy 1 get the 2nd half off. When I have to go back to work I figure they may come in handy with the swelly days that come after "release".

When did you start wearing your own panties?
I wore my regular size home from the hospital (hipsters though). When I was home resting, I would wear my yoga pants without them, and wore them only when I went somewhere.

When did you start wearing your own panties?
I always wore thongs or nothing, lol...And so before my surgery I went and bought some undies I thought would work, they came a little under my belly button. Well, they were fine but they didnt come over my incision totally since I had a vertical. So when I got home from the hospital I dug out my undies that I had bought after having my twins. I had probably 20 pairs of granny panties that I had never worn. Mind ya, I hate panties, and I'm a compulsive underwear buyer, thinking I'll find some I like. Then I came to the conclusion that no underwear feels best, lol...or thongs....Anyway, dug out my box full of grannies, and I have been loving them. I dont know why, being i hate undies, but these big ol bloomers just feel so good!!! lol....So, I dont know what kind of incision you are getting but if you are getting a vertical, just get some big grannys, they will feel so good. I'm still waiting for the discharge to quit though so I can go without again!! lol

When did you start wearing your own panties?
I also bought a larger size to wear after my surgery. When I came home I didn't like anything that felt tight around my tummy. I cut the elastic on a few pairs. It wasn't pretty but it sure was comfortable. I'm happy to say that the ones I "adjusted" are now in the trash.

When did you start wearing your own panties?
I wore the same ones I always wear home from the hospital. I have a bikini incision so it was low enough that my undies went over it, not on it.

When did you start wearing your own panties?
I wore granny panties for the first 4 weeks and then started trying my "normal" undies. I had a bikini cut and were bikini cut panties so they'd rub every once in a while. I finally went out at about week 5 and started buying new undies. I bought those "boy cut" ones. They fit wonderfully and they're comfortable. I've stopped buying undies in a package now. I figure I'm worth buying them off a hanger now since I don't have to worry about staining them anymore. YIPPEE!!!
I'm 8 weeks now and undies don't bother me a bit anymore. Now, tight pants... thats a different story. They bug me at the end of the day still. Gotta love the ever present swelly belly. ARG!
The granny panties will soon die a slow and painful death with my period panties when they're sacrificed in a ceremonial cleansing of my pantie drawer here in a few weeks. My mom wants to be there to help so we're doing it in early June when she comes to visit. Yes we're warped.

When did you start wearing your own panties?
I think I need to burn the old "period panties" too. And that word "bloomers" really sums up how these granny panties fit me. But they are so comfortable. Score 0 on the sex-appeal scale, but who cares when you're going for comfort over appeal!

When did you start wearing your own panties?
Billy Crystal played a character on Saturday Night Live called Fernando who used to say it was better to look good then to feel good. Well, he obviously never had a hysterectomy and wore granny panties. They may have zero sex appeal but when its dark, they're not seen anyway. Function over fashion in some cases I guess.
I still try to abide by the better to look good then feel good motto though. After all, I'd been doing it for years before my surgery.

When did you start wearing your own panties?
LOL ladies! I bought the biggest granny panties I could find - and only wear them now if I think I need to be more appropriate. Waste of money, find I prefer to go without the extra layer of cloth on my inscision!
