anyone lose MAJOR weight after hyster?

I had four different rounds of what I thought were viruses (strangly though my DH or kids didn't get them!!!!!) and then a horrible attack of pain under my right breast that landed me in the ER on night at 12:00. They found my gallbladder was full (enlarged) and distended. They gave me as low fat diet and I went for an ultrasound 2 days later. Seems my gallbladder just quit working. I was not hungry either.... So I had surgery just 7 months after LAVH to remove my gallbladder. If that turns out to be what it is surgery is not anywhere like the LAVH!!!!!!! I find 2 things really strage. ! The number of us hyster sisters who had previous tubal ligations AND 2. The number who later after hyst. have gallbladder surgery!!!!!!!! Good Luck!!!!! Everything I ate seemed to be white.......oatmeal, grilled chicken, non-fat vanilla pudding, non fat cottage cheese, toast no butter, low fat crackers etc....... but none of it hurt me while waiting on my surgery.
