Puncture date set, now official LIW

Hi everyone. My official Surgery date has been set for my TAH/BSO. March 5, 2001. In a way I am looking forward to it. I have seen so much support and positive info on this site that I know I can handle it. You may remember that I had Breast CA in 99 and the chemo destroyed my ovaries and my bleeding has been a nightmare since. I know I will feel better but I can't help but be a little anxious. Super! That is how I felt too. Wasn't official till I had a date. Keep that good attitude. It will be ok. I had mine done Feb 5. This is my first day home. Sore, of course, and taking it easy. But pleased it was done and happy it is over. On to recovery.... Cindy

At least I found things got easier once I had a date. And yes, you can handle it. It will probably be easier than you think. My GP, bless his heart, came this evening and took out my 37 staples. I REALLY didn't feel like going out to have that done! Says I'm healing great. This is my fourth day home and I'm taking it easy.
