Okay, I did something today that put one BIG smile on my face.

My business partner came over to bring me lunch and some wonderful smelling chicken she roasted for my dinner.

I, in turn, gave her a gift. Two large boxes of Super Plus tampons! Yea! I now live in a tampon free environment! LOL! Ah, the feeling of freedom!

On another note, I received my hospital charges yesterday.....not a bill, yet. Whoa! $15,138.35! They told me, pre surgery, that the most expensive hyterectomy at their facility was $46,000! Yikes!

I am happy that I have really good insurance and it looks like I will only have to fork over $1200. Yea!!!!

How funny! I told DD she could have my pads and she looked at me as though I had 2 heads. "Pads?" she asked. I didn't realize I had crossed the imaginery boundary between young lassie and old maiden! I swiftly reminded her that when the old baby-making machine goes haywire, then maxi's are the only way most princesses-in-waiting can make it. She then replied rather quietly -- "oh yeah, I forgot that I sometimes borrow yours at night." Ah hah! I knew occasionally the pad fairy was sneaking out of the closet. But nonetheless, DD thinks hanging on to only a couple is all she needs and that the 2 industrial size packages can be given to someone else!

my surgery totalled $42,000. We had to pay $1500. The good news about me having more surgery next week (RSO) is that it will be paid 100%.....small positives.

Great idea about the pads/tampons. I still have mine, don't know why I do though? LOL!!

Stayfree will go out, now that I don't have to buy 4-6 packs of the supers a month. I am giving my niece 2 packages of mine and my mom took 2 packs to her house for my niece. I can't wait to save all that money, I was having to spend on pads, I should have had stock in Stayfree.

Tampon free environment. I like it! Although I never could use those.

What to do with my always pads. Hmmmmmmm, halloween is coming up and I could make ghosts out of them, but Tampons would make much cuter ones. Maybe I will go buy a box and hang them just to embarass the boys! I couldn't do that hehehe.

But now I don't have to worry about my cat bringing me the package any more lmao. Darndest thing, if I left the package on the floor, he would bring it to me(brings me my shoes too).

Oh yea, no more chux pads lol! ~Anju

Thanks for the laughs. I have to figure out what to do with mine. I have pads , a bunch of OBs, and some of the Instead things.

Reminded me of when my oldest son was about 3 or 4 and I came upon him sitting in the middle of a pile of open and pulled apart tampons. He looked up at me , smiled, hit the bottom of an applicator and said "Look mom, rockets!!!!" LOL

That was when I switched to the applicator free ones because I couldn't afford to keep him supplied with "rockets".
