Yellowish bruising

Yep!!

I look like I was beaten by a baseball bat all over my abdomen and on my left side! Add that to the black stitches they used on my three incisions and I looked like FrankenBelly. I couldn't stand even looking in the mirror! Gorgeous colors though, black, misc purples, azure, navy blue...

You'll be okay.

Thanks Jess

Thanks Jess...Franenbelly made me laugh. I was concerned because it's growing but am so glad to hear it's normal. I really appreciate your reply. Have a great day.

Yellowish bruising

Not a problem!!

Use ice. It will help with the soreness. You also might notice some outer labia swelling/bruising as well. Not fun to ice that area at all, but don't get too scared if you notice that down there.

Good luck with your healing.
Ask questions whenever you have them! Someone here has probably experienced it!!

Yellowish bruising

yes, it's just like any area that gets a bump or a trauma - the bruises may take a few days to show up, then they go through all the color changes typical of healing.

I had this with my lap in June and also my TAH in July.

I look like Frankenbelly too with 4 ab surgeries in 15 years !!! But the scars do fade with time. Mine from my appendectomy in 1996 even has a freckle on it but has never been exposed to the sun !!!!

Yellowish bruising

My TAH belly didn't bruise at all--AT FIRST. Then after 3-4 days, the yellow came to the surface. Looked like someone colored me with an expo highlighter, LOL. It fades away.
