gallbladder

Hi,
Since my hysterectomy, I have begun having problems digesting fats. When I make my own meals, I can monitor this, but when I order something to go, I am finding that there are lots of fats that creep in.

What I notice is a funny taste in my mouth and a coating in my throat. It lasts for several hours.

I don't have pain that some of you have described here, but I'm wondering if any of you ever noticed this symptom and whether it's GB related.

I don't know if GB problems run in families, but my mother had hers out in her 50s.

I have a doctor appointment today and plan to bring this up, but I would like to know what you think.

I didn't have the bad taste in my mouth. But everyone is different. Sounds more like acid reflux but I am not a doctor. Doesn't hurt to have it checked out though.
