7/17 Hysterectomy (LSH) with bilateral oophorectomy

I had LSH with bilateral oophorectomy and they scraped endometriosis off my entire bladder and a significant portion of my intestines too. Due to several, severe allergies, I've been on Toradol (have 2 pills left - ugh) alternating with Tylenol. Pain is not all that well controlled, but I'm tolerating it as best I can. I felt a little better when I finally went the bathroom! lol!
Had my first hotflash the first night after surgery (went home 2 hours after LSH). Worse than the pain is the intense anger I feel. I always wanted children. But after 3 miscarriages, 5 endo scraping, ovarian cyst draining, and uterine fibroid removing surgeries in hopes of getting pregnant, one of my chronic illnesses caused me to start early menopause at 35. So, at least I know I tried everything, but I'm still just so angry at... Myself, the world? Idk. Anyone else dealing with anger??

Re: 7/17 Hysterectomy (LSH) with bilateral oophorectomy

I had my surgery 7/11 and alas no children either. I think most of the anger was (and still is) never being able to do what our bodies are naturally supposed to do. I am only 37, but knew children wouldn't happen. The ONLY time I became pregnant resulted in an ectopic and emergency surgery.
The important thing to remember is that you are a valuable woman with so much to offer stay strong and try to stay positive!! You are worth it! <3
