Surgery Monday !!!! Help!!!
Hi Pamela -
There was a thread here just in the past day or 2 that had a ton of great ideas. Just scroll down through the last few pages, or do a search. I think it was called "what to bring." Good luck to ya!!

Backscratcher A Must!
The best thing I brought to hospital was my backscratcher, I used it to pull the tray table over closer to bed, and to pick pants off floor after the bathroom. Most of the time you just lay there and sleep anyway! Shower felt good and put on my own gown and slippers after, but din't used anything else I brought.
Also bought a "Gopher "a long reaching gripper handle thingy, second best purchase. Until I got my staples out (2weeks later), it was hard to bend over,(as I am also a large fluffy) still use it to reach vcr for a new movie.
Just relax and take the pain meds. and do what your doctor says, It will really help!! Best of luck!!!
