Still have my ovaries - should I be worried about future sexual issues?

I had a radical abdominal hysterectomy due to cervical cancer - however I was able to keep both of my ovaries.

So far I haven't had any libido/desire issues but I'm curious as to whether or not I should expect something in the future? I wasn't able to post anything about this question on the sexual dysfunction forum so I thought I would try here.

anyone else have some insight for me?

It sounds like you are doing great! If your ovaries are functioning well so far, producing the necessary hormones for satisfactory sexual desire and response, I certainly wouldn't worry about possible future sexual dysfunction if I were you. Why be concerned about something that may never happen? I say, enjoy your post-hyst life and good health!

That makes me feel a lot better! I was thinking that if I kept my ovaries that things should be okay :-) I was kind of worried at first because when I would read posts on the sexual dysfunction forum I was concerned b/c I thought I should expect some changes in the coming months/years.
