Hysterectomy: December 5th, 2002

Vaginal Hysterectomy
I had my TVH on Dec. 5th and am doing quite well. I spent 2 nights in the hospital and those were by far the worst days. I had mine with general anesth. and also had a catherder and morphine drip for 24 hrs. Once those were taken away and I could get up I felt much better. For those worried about pain, I would say, I had 2 c-sections and this was by far much easier then either of them. I have had mild discomfort in my abdomin and very little bleeding. I also was not suppose to drive until today(2weeks post-op) but I drove on Mon. I also started walking around the block this past Sat. I have not lifted anything. I am traveling on Sat to my parents...4 hours away...we'll see how that goes.
