Climara and appetite

I have read a lot of information about estrogen, how it helps burn fat, and how it is supposed to REDUCE appetite. However, I just recently had a dose increase to .075 from .05 and I am hungry all the time. I am also craving sweets, have a lot of fluid in my fingers and have some anxiety. I think maybe I need to go back to the lower dose or maybe try the .06 (amazing they even have this dose available).

One of the reasons I wanted the increase was because I needed some help in the libido dept and testosterone cream wasn't helping. This higher dose has really helped awaken my senses if you know what I mean. I enjoy kissing my husband again, etc. I just wish this didn't have to be so darned complicated. Has anyone had increased appetite and anxiety with higher doses of Climara? Does it go away eventually? I certainly can't afford to gain any more weight.

Another question I have is does flaxseed alter hormone levels or interfere with HRT? I recently got a breadmaker and have been making my own whole wheat bread with flaxseed. I wonder if this is increasing my estrogen level?
