Happy with results

I , too, was concerned about having my cervix out and sex....well, for me...when we had sex before my surgery there was always the issue of him bumping my cervix and THAT IS PAINFUL...now...no cervix...no pain!!!!! My DH said he feels absolutely no difference at all...so I am quite happy with my results

It's great you have no pain but do you climax?

I wish I could answer your question..I am still trying to figure out if I should keep it in or take it out. Any choices?

I'm an oldie but goody...had cervix and uterus removed back in 1999. Sex has been nothing but great! Also, the worry of having to use birth control is non-existent and who doesn't love sex on a whim!! I had no problem with lubrication because I don't think that is a problem until your ovaries are removed. I had my ovaries removed in August 2008 and am now starting to experience menopause,..hot flashes and night sweats. I take it slow and so far lubrication is still no problem, but who knows what will happen. So, go for it and have fun!!

I'm 11 weeks today, TAH. I can't tell I don't have a cervix and neither can DH. No trouble with the big "O" either.

It's nice to hear that the big O can still be experienced sans cervix!
