Some HAPPY recovery news today...

I had a few weeks of torture, pain and questions. I had a daVinci LSH on 2/13. I think I turned a corner today, finally!! My husband surprised me with getting our apartment cleaned. That made me really, really happy to get out of bed and not see/smell messes!! The smell of cleansers, and seeing vacuum lines made me smile!!!!!! I also finally had a b.m. after a week of being "dry". My headaches are under control and I stopped all pain Rx's, but I have my Motrin closeby just in case. Turns out the Percocet was making me naseous, constipated and into migraine-mode. I feel much better........... Plus, I keep losing weight daily. I hope I continue on this happy little path, slowly but surely!! Good luck to all of my other 2/13 princesses!!

Re: Some HAPPY recovery news today...

Good to hear you are feeling better. Another hyster sister recommended to me to drink a glass of half prune juice and half ginger ale--warmed up. It worked better than all the medicines. Hope you have no more "dry" spells.

CLW: I tried pure prunejuice. My brother (he's a doctor) told me I HAD to have it yesterday, 4 oz, but I only got down about 1 oz before feeling really naseous! Ginger ale I can't touch with a 10 foot pole (I got so sick on it with my first pregnancy)... What to drink was so tough!

angie: Thanks, yes!!

Thank you, popcorn!! At least he knows that if he can't handle it, get someone else to get it done and make the wifey happy!

Poor thing--it isn't the tastiest concoction. My mom swears by Noni juice. Just as gross tasting but supposed to work miracles.

Noni? Hmm, I'd try anything with fiber at this point. I want to keep things moving! Thanks!
