Sat for too long?

3wks post op - So I was sitting with my feet up for about 5hrs and then a friend visited and I sat with legs down for 4hrs. Now I have a feeling of fullness in my vagina and almost like a burning uncomfortable feeling. Could I have caused a prolapse or done something really bad by sitting for so long?

Re: Sat for too long?

Hi,

It might be an idea for you to go and have a lie down for awhile.

It seems to be quite common to feel uncomfortable in the first few weeks if you sit for too long. Take the burning feeling as a sign that you need to rest horizontally

I don't know about the prolapse question but if having a rest doesn't alleviate your discomfort give your doctor a call.
