Rash around incision

I had my hysterectomy on March 16. I have a reddish rash around my incision and it itches alot. Any one have any idea how long the brownish leaking lasts. I think it is making the rash worse. Thanks

hey - did you have abdominal surgery? sorry to say, but you had better call your dr monday, it could be a seroma and the red rash could be infection. the seromas are pesky and can leak for days or weeks.

good luck,

That is not good, be sure and call your doctor first thing in the morning. I'm holding a good thought and a prayer for you, please let me know what the doctor says. Take care of yourself.

Peace
