Facial Hair

Hello,

I have always had a problem with facial hair, but since the surgery it became 10 times worse.

I have just started using the Vivelle dot 1 mg.

Even though I don't have a uterus, my doctor said that sometimes progesterone can be useful.

Does anyone know if my facial hair will get better?
Is there anything that I can do to slow it down?

Re: Facial Hair

The estrogen in the Vivelle-dot should slow it down.

Re: Facial Hair

There is a prescription cream called Vaniqa that can be used around the upper lip and chin area to slow hair growth. It takes awhile to kick in, but it does seem to help some women. I used to use it, but started getting a bit of a rash. I may try it again now that my ovaries seem to have slowed (but the hair hasn't!).
