2 weeks Post op, Still having bladder spasms

I am having bladder spasms. the spams are more intense when my bladder is full. Is this normal after 2 weeks post op? My endo caused urinary issues and it scares me to have this pain again with urination.

Re: 2 weeks Post op, Still having bladder spasms

My bladder spasms went on for about 10 weeks post op

I was told at my 6 week postop check to make sure I peed every 4-6 hours - and they did settle on their own.

Hope you feel better soon x

Re: 2 weeks Post op, Still having bladder spasms

I had several issues, uti symptoms with no uti, urethral pain, etc. Estrace cream helped settle down these symptoms. I hope you get relief soon. Best wishes.

Hey princess,

Give your doctor a call and let him/her know what you are feeling. It will put your mind at ease and he/she will be able to tell you whether it is 'normal' for you and your surgery and if it is perhaps related to the endo and urinary tract issues you had prior to your surgery. It may or may not be related but whatever the case, he/she will be able to advise you and help you....and they really don't mind. That's what they are there for, to look after you so don't hesitate to give them a call with your concerns.

Good luck princess, happy healings and hope you feel better very soon.

Hugs galore, xoxo.

I still have them too. My doc said they would end around the two week mark. It's worse than when I had my first c-section. I hate going to the bathroom because I KNOW its going to hurt!

Re: 2 weeks Post op, Still having bladder spasms

Thanks for the comments. I asked my doctor today and she said to urinate often and do not let my bladder get full. She said it was normal and will go away in time. It sure does hurt! I am glad I am not alone with this. I was worried there was a problem.
