Weight Gain - Help

I had a TVH on Aug. 14, so I am 5 weeks post op. Have had a few problems off and on since surgery. But since surgery my weight has been up about 2 lbs. But I woke up this morning and it was up even 2 more. It is really depressing me. What is causing this? Eating habits no different. Also is there something I can do? I see my doc Thursday, but need help today. Also I have been SO moody the last couple of days. Could I be going thru PMS even after the surgery?

Weight issues can occur after a hyst or any major surgery. We are not as active as usual, our metabilism can be off a bit, our hormones can be acting up, any medications could be affecting us, and the list goes on.

Do talk to your doctor on Thursday and ask for suggestions. Be sure you are drinking plenty of water and walking as you can.

And yes, you an be experiencing PMS since you did keep your ovaries.
