Re: feeling that I have to urinate all the time.

It is common for the bladder to spasm or overwork or not work well after surgery. Have you talked to your doctor about it? If not you should give him or her a call. It could be a UTI. It could be that you have Interstitial Cystitis. But, don't worry about IC, until you get a little further out and rule out the other options. I wish you the best!

Re: feeling that I have to urinate all the time.

I drank lots of water - like a cup every half hour for 2 days to get rid of that urge.

While you wait to hear from the doctor make sure you are drinking your liquids.

Re: feeling that I have to urinate all the time.

Same thing happened to me. My gyno kept doing urine checks for bladder infections but they were ok. Like someone said it's probably just spasms but do get it checked out. It took nearly 6 months for me to be free of pelvic pain. HUGS

Re: feeling that I have to urinate all the time.

It does happen, I am now 9 weeks post vaginal hysterectomy and anterior, posterior repair and I think the bladder gets really upset, still have the odd day when I feel the same, took a couple of weeks to settle down after the op. Drink plenty that will help. Wish you well. Take care.
