Surgery scheduled in a month..Yikes!

I'm brand new at this so bear with me...

I just had an an appt with the dr yesterday. He had a sudden cancellation and can take me in one month (July 9). I was prepared for having to go in for a TAH but not quite that soon!

I'm fluctuating between elation (finally no more pain and heavy bleeding) and sheer dread and panic!

My mind keeps going to all the things that can go wrong, and through a multitude of questions from what will recovery be like to what will orgasms (if they ever happen again?) be like.

I haven't slept since....I would love some feedback and if anyone is going through surgery at the same time and would like to be buddies through it all, please let me know.

Thanks,

Crystal

Surgery scheduled in a month..Yikes!

Hi Crystal,

Glad to hear from you! I went to my appt. on Monday for a second Lupron shot (I've been very anemic, bleeding since Feb!) expecting for surgery on 6/26. Imagine my reaction when it was scheduled for 6/19, a week earlier! I'm alternating between happiness (it's going to be over!) and panic (omg, that's only a week and a half away!)

I'm making a lot of lists and breathing deeply as I panic!

s and good luck!
