Christmas Is over and....

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!
I am starting to feel the pre-surg jitters since the excitement of Christmas is over. Now its time to prepare the home and myself for the surg and recovery.
I wanted to share the love and thoughtfulness of my family. I'll start with the DH. One of my presents was a cuddly, fluffy nightgown. Another, a pair of Air Princess's (fluffy pink cushiony slippers fit for a princess). A mega make-up kit to play with different colors to cheer up a newly puncuterd princess when she's bed-ridden. I love the thought he put into this and that he realizes how much I will be needing his support.
My mother got me 3 extra big comfy pj short outfits to lounge in, decent yet comfy. A pack of super thick comfy socks and huge pack of xlarge cotton panties. She said she wanted to make sure I felt fresh and cared for during recovery.
MIL bought me 2 exlarge fluffy new white towels and washcloths for JUST me to use.
I am very blessed to have a family who understands and wants to help me through this time.

Dear Charity,

Your post made me smile. What a thoughtful family you have. It sounds like you are going to be a wonderfully-pampered princess when you come home from the castle -- in your 'Air-Princesses'

Best wishes - and thank you for sharing!

I know, incredible.
I have to say, in regards to the "Air Princesses", those are a must have. My feet are giggling as I wear them I think
As for the make-up, I have promised the dh when boredom strikes, I'll need to use his face as my palette He is a good sport.

Charity Hi girl!!

You have such a wonderful family to get such thoughtfull gifts. I had a jewelry making kit that my DH had gotten me it was cute but easy. I made key chains for everyone. We need some kind of divesion when boredom sets in. Sounds like we don't have to remind you to be a pampered because your family is already doing that. God Bless and here are a few and s to keep you company.

You've got a very thoughtful family. Those are great princess gifts

Taking a shower and putting on clean jammies and undies was the highlight of my days while I was recovering
