I just wanted to thank the owners of this site and the members. I just found out yesterday that I will be having a total hysterectomy on September 10th. I was/am scared to death. Finding this website has been a Godsend. Reading the posts and everything else on this site, has helped me to better prepare for this. Thank you so much for being here.

I am SO glad you found us! I remember how terrified and confused I was when I found out I had to have a TAH (Total Abdominal Hsyterectomy) last summer. I had NO idea what to expect! The wonderful women here answered all my questions, held my hand, and helped me prepare.

Welcome to this wonderful place. I'm 13 weeks post op today and found this site myself a month or so before I had my surgery and it was a big help. You'll be able to find out all kinds of things here. I was just thankful to hear how others suffered the same pains I did. I knew they couldn't take the pain away, but at least I knew nothing awful was wrong with me.
